The Southern California landscape is being ravaged by an unrelenting series of wildfires, which have already scorched more than 17,000 acres of land and continue to threaten residents and communities. So far, more than 130,000 people have been forced to flee their homes, and estimated damages are projected to exceed $50 billion.

The donation was made payable to Americares and the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, which have been offering vital assistance to individuals and families affected by the wildfires.

The funding will help Americares deliver vital healthcare services to impacted communities and the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation to upgrade equipment and programs that protect lives and property.

With nearly 25 years of roots in the Los Angeles business community, Flutter and FanDuel have established a long-standing presence in the region. FanDuel TV, formerly TVG, is currently headquartered in Culver City, California.

FanDuel's Los Angeles office has approximately 400 employees, several of whom have been affected by the wildfires.

FanDuel and Flutter have been proud members of the Los Angeles business community for over two decades. We are heartbroken by the devastating loss these wildfires have created in a community we call home. We are committed to ensuring our employees are safe and making sure the community has the resources it needs to support the heroic efforts of our first responders.
