GCGRA Grants Aristocrat a UAE Gaming-Related License
Aristocrat, the global developer and distributor of slot games, has announced it has been approved for a Gaming-Related Vendor License in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Aristocrat approved for a UAE gaming license by the GCGRA regulator.
The license was issued by the region’s gambling legislature, the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), and is the first of its kind to be issued. This move can be seen as a milestone by the regulator, the GCGRA in its efforts to introduce some form of regulated gaming for tourists in the jurisdiction, where religion prohibits all forms of gambling.
Under the terms of the license Aristocrat is permitted to offer retail-based and online gaming services. The developer says it plans to supply a portfolio of titles that are tailored for the customers in the region.
