Global gaming technology provider Light & Wonder has announced a strategic seven-year agreement with SkyCity Entertainment Group. The agreement will lead the casino operator in New Zealand and Australia to implement its L&W Engage platform across SkyCity's properties.

L&W Engage offers loyalty and customer interaction features that allow SkyCity to better connect with patrons.

A key part of the deal includes the implementation of Light & Wonder's advanced iVISTA technology platform across SkyCity's casino floors. The iVISTA platform is designed to optimize the player interface through a flexible, high-tech gaming experience that aims to increase both player satisfaction and operational efficiency.
This technology allows players to interact with multi-touch displays embedded within gaming machines, enabling immediate feedback and offering an immersive experience with dynamic animations and videos. The iVISTA system not only enhances the gaming experience but also enables seamless customer service interactions, making it a valuable addition to SkyCity's efforts to modernize its casino operations and improve customer engagement on the gaming floor.
In addition to the enhanced gaming systems, SkyCity plans to transform its customer experience by introducing "100% carded play" at its casinos, a move aimed at centralizing player data and supporting responsible gaming initiatives.
