Playtech Funds ICRG Research on Underserved Groups in US
Playtech, the industry-leading B2B and B2C supplier of gaming services, has announced a collaboration with the International Center for Responsible Gaming (ICRG) to research underserved groups.
The study will focus on players in the US and Canadian gambling market, with Playtech adding financial resources to the project.
The research project is in its initial stages with the ICRG inviting applicants from the groups outlined to participate in the study. The ICRG has been operating research projects since 1996 and will undertake this study under the oversight of an independent Scientific Advisory Board.
The research initiative operated by the ICRG will allow a well-funded and comprehensive study into the underrepresented groups that are outlined. Playtech says in the statement it is proud to be involved with the research study and it has funded the research project.
Playtech is committed to creating a safer gambling environment and is a strong supporter of research that helps reduce gambling-related harm and enhance player protection measures. We are delighted to be able to support the ICRG’s research that will help advance player protection for vulnerable groups in the U.S. and Canada.
