The matchup, which saw Canada secure a 3-2 win over the United States, has become the most-wagered-on hockey event since the legalization of sports betting in the US.

Major sportsbooks, including FanDuel, DraftKings, and BetMGM, revealed that the 4 Nations championship game surpassed all prior hockey events in terms of betting volume.

BetMGM particularly reported that the match outpaced any NHL game this season by a factor of 2.5.

Additionally, Caesars and ESPN BET confirmed that while the 4 Nations final didn't surpass their all-time records, established during the 2024 Stanley Cup Final between Edmonton and Florida, it nevertheless produced outstanding numbers for a mid-February hockey contest.
