Allwyn Achieves Record Revenue Growth of 98% for FY 2023
Allwyn International, the leading global lottery operator, has announced its trading figures for last year which saw the group enjoy a combined Total Revenue of €7,878.1 million for FY 2023, a rise of 98% year on year, bolstered by acquisitions made last year. With revenue from acquisitions excluded the revenue figure achieved was a more modest increase of 6%.
Other key indicators in the trading statement included consolidated Adjusted EBITDA of €1,484.6 million for 2023, a significant increase of 27% when compared to the previous year.
The Q4 Total Revenue for Allwyn showed a similar pattern to the FY results for 2023, with an increase of 98% to €2,177.5 million from €1,108 million when compared to the same quarter for the previous year. The fourth quarter for the consolidated group saw Adjusted EBITDA of €388.5million up 30% YoY.
Allwyn is continuing to increase its footprint globally and the financial statement comes hot on the heels of the announcement of the 500 million accordion facility, which the company will use to purchase a 70% stake in Instant Win Games (IWG).
The Allwyn group now operates a range of its portfolio of lottery services in seven countries worldwide.

Excluding the acquisitions, we delivered strong Total Revenue growth of 6% year-on-year.
Acquisition of Camelot UK in 2023
One of the main impacts on revenue for the group came in Q1 last year when Allwyn completed the purchase of Camelot UK, the previous operators of the UK National Lottery, during a drawn-out process that saw Allwyn successfully win the bid to operate the fourth ten-year license of the National Lottery in the UK.
