bet365 Launches Online Sportsbook in Tennessee
bet365 has officially launched its online sportsbook in Tennessee, expanding its presence in the US sports betting market. The launch comes just days after the operator went live in Illinois, further strengthening its foothold in the market.

The Tennessee Sports Wagering Council granted bet365 an online sports betting license in February, clearing the way for the operator's entry into the state. In Illinois, the operator secured a management service provider license from the Illinois Gaming Control Board in December 2024, enabling it to offer both online and retail sports betting through a partnership with Walker's Bluff Casino Resort.

Tennessee Sports Betting Proves a Hit
Tennessee presents a unique market for bet365, as it is one of the few states in the country that permits only online sports betting, with no retail sportsbooks allowed within its borders. The state's sports betting industry has seen rapid growth since its launch in November 2020, and bet365 now joins a group of 13 approved operators in Tennessee.
Since the beginning of 2025, Tennessee sports bettors have placed nearly $1 billion in online wagers. The state has collected more than $17.6 million in sports betting tax revenue over the first two months of the year, reflecting the strength of the market and the demand for legal sports betting options.
bet365 has not publicly detailed its launch plans for either Tennessee or Illinois in advance, but its entry into both markets comes ahead of the NCAA March Madness tournament. This timing positions the operator to capitalize on one of the biggest sports betting events of the year. With the tournament attracting millions of dollars in wagers, bet365's expansion into two active sports betting states provides a timely opportunity to grow its customer base.
