Just days before the November election, each team, including the Cardinals, contributed over $333,000 to the campaign, which raised approximately $45 million in total, largely from leading sportsbook operators such as DraftKings and FanDuel.
The Cardinals were also active members of the Missouri Sports Betting Alliance, a coalition advocating for voter approval of sports betting. As part of its outreach, the alliance enlisted Cardinals Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith to help connect with the fan base and promote the benefits of legalization.
