BetMGM Poker Welcomes Abby Merk as a Brand Ambassador
BetMGM, the leading sports betting operator, has announced that professional poker player Abby Merk will become a brand ambassador and content partner for its BetMGM Poker brand.
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Based in Chicago, Merk worked in finance when she started playing poker. Soon she turned professional and would post on social media about her poker-playing career. She now enjoys more than 100,000 followers on social media and earlier this year received an award as a Rising Star in Content Creation at the 2025 Global Poker Awards.
In her role as a brand ambassador for BetMGM Poker, Merk will use her unique insight to produce content for the BetMGM Poker digital channels that cover a variety of poker events at MGM Resorts International properties.

BetMGM Continues to Innovate Its Poker Platform
BetMGM Poker boasts it is continuing to enhance and improve its platform and feels this will lead to an improved player experience. Recently it decided to merge the player pool between the states of New Jersey and Michigan. This move has led to a larger promotion and greater interaction between players.
The gaming operator tries to integrate its poker offering with the rest of the BetMGM platform and believes this creates a more comprehensive gaming experience for its players.
