Bloomberry Launches 'Megafunalo' Online Gaming Platform
Philippine casino developer and operator Bloomberry Resorts Corp has officially launched its new online gaming platform, branded as "MegaFUNalo." The platform was introduced over the weekend and announced to the public through full-page advertisements in major local newspapers, signaling the company's commitment to expanding its digital gaming footprint.

Bloomberry is best known for operating the Solaire Resort & Casino in Entertainment City, Manila. The company also manages a second integrated resort, Solaire Resort North, located in Quezon City's Vertis district. The addition of MegaFUNalo marks a strategic move to enhance Bloomberry's online presence alongside its existing land-based operations.

To facilitate payments and improve accessibility, Bloomberry has partnered with various local banks and mobile wallet services. By integrating multiple payment options, the company is making it easier for players across different regions of the Philippines to engage with the platform.
MegaFUNalo enters a competitive market space, with other licensed online gaming platforms already established in the Philippines. One of its primary competitors is DigiPlus Interactive Corp, which has developed a strong user base over recent years.
According to analysis published by the Inquirer, DigiPlus increased its monthly active users from 800,000 in 2022 to 7.5 million in the first quarter of 2025. The performance of MegaFUNalo will likely depend on Bloomberry's ability to attract and retain users at a similar scale.
Enrique Razon, chairman and CEO of Bloomberry, previously stated that expanding the company's online operations is a central part of its recovery strategy. He described MegaFUNalo as a mainstream brand designed to extend Bloomberry's gaming entertainment offerings to a wider national audience, especially in the context of increasing digital engagement among consumers.
Financially, Bloomberry started 2025 on a strong note. The company reported a first-quarter net income attributable to shareholders of $59.4 million. Revenue for the period rose by 15.3% year-on-year, reaching $256 million. The launch of MegaFUNalo is expected to further strengthen Bloomberry's revenue channels by tapping into the growing online gaming segment in the Philippines.
