Cache Creek Casino in Brooks, CA Holding Survivor Casting Calls
CBS News Sacramento is reporting that Cache Creek Casino, located in Brooks, California, is holding casting calls for the hit television show that’s run for nearly 50 seasons: “Survivor.”

The casting occurred on June 2.
In a line that snaked and swerved, even wrapping around the building before the doors opened — it’s the first challenge: a "Survivor" casting call at Cache Creek Resort & Casino.
The camera pans to “Survivor” hopefuls who explain how long they’ve been at the casino awaiting their chance to make an impression.
One man, Eddie Lopez, said he had been there since 3:40 that morning. Another hopeful, Caitlin Gariealdi, says being on “Survivor” is their dream.
Others think “Survivor” would be a fun challenge, or they’re confident that, after watching the show, they could complete it successfully.
The process includes an interview in front of the camera, where the hopefuls display a trait that’ll stand out. Some chose to dance, others chose to sing original songs.
Before the news report ends, we’re reminded that Joe Hunter, who hailed from Sacramento, was a finalist in the 48th season of “Survivor.” Hunter will return for the show’s 50th season.
There’s no record of Cache Creek Casino hosting casting calls for other shows. Rather, it appears to be a collaboration between the casino and CBS.
On Facebook, CBS13 (CBS Sacramento) wrote, “CBS Sacramento and Cache Creek Casino Resort teamed up to host a casting call for the hit CBS show "Survivor" on Monday, June 2, at the casino.”
