California’s Rancho Mirage Casino Adds New Gaming Space
The Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage in California has completed a major expansion of its gaming floor, adding over 12,000 square feet to the Coachella Valley resort’s casino area.

The addition brings the total gaming space at the property to more than 89,000 square feet. The casino has also introduced a variety of new slot machines, some of which are currently available only at Agua Caliente Casinos. Among the exclusive titles are Ultimate Fire Link Triple Nova, Huff and Extra Puff, and Hot Hot Double Blazing Lock.
Hyper Link Slots Come to California
In a regional first, Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage is now the only casino in Southern California offering Aristocrat’s latest Hyper Link series. This new lineup includes games such as Buffalo, The Power of 88, and Just Ca$h.
With more than 3,300 slots across our three casino properties, we offer various games ranging from popular classics to thrilling new game titles.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Monday, April 21, to mark the grand opening of the expanded area. Special promotions will follow throughout May for ACE Club members, including opportunities to win Free Play prizes and join a Showcase Showdown event tied to the casino’s loyalty program.

A Growing Californian Presence
Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage is one of three gaming venues operated by Agua Caliente Casinos, alongside properties in Palm Springs and Cathedral City. The Rancho Mirage location also features 42 table games, two high-limit rooms, and the Coachella Valley’s only dedicated poker room.
It is important to mention that this expansion comes during a booming period for online casinos in the USA, as Agua Caliente marks 30 years in California’s land-based casino industry. The operator launched its first casino in Palm Springs in April 1995 after tribal gaming was approved under federal compacts with the state.
Construction on the new casino floor began in early 2024 and the operator’s expansion efforts have been aided by a stable regulatory climate in California, where tribal casinos continue to play a key role in the state’s gaming economy through long-standing compacts with the government.
