Discover the African iGaming Market at GEFA 2023
In recent years, there has been a great deal of talk about the vast potential for growth in the French-speaking African region. In order to help iGaming professionals make the most of this, Eventus International is hosting the Gaming Event Francophone Africa 2023 (GEFA 2023) on 8-9 March 2023.
The iGaming event is taking place at the Casablanca Marriott Hotel in Casablanca, Morocco, and it will bring together operators, providers, and investors, in order to learn about the industry and enjoy networking opportunities.
A number of important publications, such as Business Insider Africa, Tech Financials, and the Mail & Guardian, have explored the growth of the iGaming market in Africa. The consensus is that factors such as a young population, improving mobile infrastructure, and a cultural interest in gaming and sports are driving growth.
There are roughly 140 million players in Africa, and GEFA 2023 will be exploring how to realize the potential of the market. There will be several speakers over the course of the two days, including:
- Alexis Mbah Komangar, Sales Coordinator at Premierbet Chad
- Annabel Ashalley Anthony, Founder and International Relations at Melanin Games and Ghana Esports Federation
- Ife Akintaju, COO at Mobiele
- Marc Alexandre Saba, Executive Board Member and Co-Founder at Moja Group Inc.
The event looks to be a fantastic opportunity for industry stakeholders to learn about the latest technologies and content available for the Francophone Africa market. There will also be presentations on topics such as SEO optimization, combating match-fixing, and more.
