EveryMatrix to Enter Ontario Market after AGCO Approval
Online gaming software company EveryMatrix has received a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to launch its products and services in the regulated market of Ontario.
As a result of its approval, EveryMatrix can now distribute its proprietary content in the jurisdiction. The provider can also partner with licensed operators in Ontario and deliver its iGaming content sourced from its Spearhead and Armadillo Studios.
Between them, the two studios boast over 100 titles, including North America-themed games like The Lioness, featuring MMA champion Amanda Nunes.
Obtaining the registration approval from AGCO is an important milestone for us in our North American expansion. We are very excited to provide our products to existing American customers and other operators entering Canada’s largest jurisdiction.
While Ontario iGaming and sports betting market went live on April 4, the regulator published its final online betting and gaming standards in the jurisdiction in September 2021. The new rules cover several aspects, including advertising, game design, autoplay, and more.
Operators that hope to secure a market entry into Ontario would have to abide by these regulations. In July, EveryMatrix partnered with 888casino to supply the online gaming operator with games across several US jurisdictions, including New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
