Flutter Foundation Launches in Ceuta to Boost Social Change
The Flutter Foundation, a non-profit initiative backed by Flutter Entertainment, which is behind prominent gambling brands such as FanDuel, Betfair, and Paddy Power, has officially started operations in Ceuta, Spain.

The foundation is a key part of Flutter’s broader goal to improve the lives of 10 million people by 2030. Its mission encompasses tackling inequality and various social issues by promoting education, entrepreneurship, technological advancements, sports, and employability.
Part of Flutter’s Positive Impact Plan
The foundation’s efforts align with Flutter’s Positive Impact Plan, a sustainability strategy launched in 2022. By the end of 2023, Flutter Entertainment reported making a positive difference in the lives of 1.5 million people.
During its launch, the Foundation established two significant partnerships to benefit Ceuta. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Youth, the Foundation will provide €80,000 in scholarships for STEM studies. These scholarships aim to support disadvantaged families and encourage gender equality in science-related careers.
Furthermore, the Foundation is partnering with the Government of Ceuta to roll out initiatives aimed at enhancing the city’s inclusivity and quality of life.

Business and Political Leaders Attend Launch
The launch event saw attendance from key political and business figures, including Juan Jesús Vivas Lara, President of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Cristina Pérez Valero, Spain’s Delegate in Ceuta, and Kissy Chandiramani, Minister of Finance, Economic Transition, and Digital Transformation. Representatives from various sectors also participated to show their support.

Elisa Miguel Fonseca, the President of the Flutter Foundation, explained that their goal is to work closely with the community in order to help achieve “positive and lasting change in Ceuta society and in a second phase, in all of Spanish society.”
