Game Nation Bolsters Its Leadership Team with Two New Hires
Game Nation, one of the United Kingdom’s (UK) largest retail slots operators, has announced two new appointments to its leadership team. This sees Eric Howell named as Compliance and Audit Director and Sharon Lewis join the company as Marketing Development Manager.
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Howell has vast experience of the gaming industry and joins Game Nation from Rank Group, where he served in leadership roles including Central Slots Manager and Slots Project Manager. He is a compliance specialist who as also served in management roles at leading UK gaming operators William Hill and Majestic Bingo.
Lewis joins from Merkur Casino UK where she spent a decade, with her last role as a Marketing Executive. She has an in depth knowledge of the gaming industry and understanding of how to market to slots players in the UK.
Sharon has over a decade of experience working in the sector and is someone who really understands machine players. Her creativity and passion for the business will be key in helping Game Nation to achieve its full potential on the high street. Game Nation Bolsters Its Team to Drive Growth
Launched in 2019, Game Nation is currently the third largest slots operator in the UK and has over 40 gaming centers in the region. The business has set out a strategy that it aims to achieve growth in the UK within the next two years.
Senior leadership at the operator believes adding Eric Howell and Sharon Lewis to the management team are ideal candidates to help expand the company and drive the team towards its business objective of growth.
Eric Howell began his gaming industry career with Coral Social Clubs in 1989 and has gained hands-on experience working across the Bingo, Casino and Licensed Betting Office sectors. His most recent post was with Mecca where he was instrumental in the revitalisation of the brand’s slots operation. With a commitment to the delivery of ethical, customer-focussed entertainment he brings huge credibility to the Game Nation business.
South Dakota operates a state lottery and signed an extension deal with IGT in November 2023 that lasts until 2031.
