GAT Focuses on Latin America with Four Unmissable 2024 Events
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:Gaming and Technology Events (GAT), an organizer of major gaming industry trade shows, has published a new events calendar for the year that reflects its ambitions for the LATAM gambling market.
There are four events planned for the coming year and each promises to deliver stakeholders an unmissable experience:
- GAT Expo Cartagena - April 9-11, Las Americas Convention Center, Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
- GAT Showcase Bogotá September 6, Sheraton Bogotá Hotel, Bogotá, Colombia.
- GAT Showcase Santo Domingo September 18-19, Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
- GAT Caribe Cancun November 27-28, Cancun Center, Cancun, Mexico.
GAT Expo Cartagena – Cartagena de Indias, Colombia
The GAT Expo Cartagena, running from April 9 to 11, will take place at the Cartagena Las Americas Convention Center. The three days will provide attendees with the chance to hear from regional industry leaders while enjoying local music, folklore and food. The event has attracted some big-name sponsors such as Novomatic, Evolution, and Pragmatic Play, while several developers and operators will be exhibiting.
GAT’s CEO, José Aníbal Aguirre, explained how this year’s event is branching out into new territories:
In addition to our traditional partners, the Asojuegos, Cornazar, Fecoljuegos and Fedelco associations, we are inviting associations from Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Peru and other countries. With them we will give the Academy a special luster, opening opportunities for the exchange of opinions and experiences, facing the situation of the industry from their point of view.
GAT Showcase Bogotá – Bogotá, Colombia
Colombia has a thriving industry of brick-and-mortar casinos and GAT will be tapping into this with the tradeshow on September 6. Game developers and providers, including EGT, IGT, and Novomatic, will have the opportunity to showcase their latest products to operators in a vast exhibition hall at the Sheraton Bogota Hotel.
Speaking about the event, Aguirre said that it will be “a unique day of exhibition” attracting C-level executives from across Latin America and the Caribbean.
GAT Showcase Santo Domingo - Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
This year, CIBELAE, Corporación Iberoamericana de Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, is taking part in the showcase and will run a panel on lotteries and regulation. Over the two days of September 18-19, there will also be a number of talks addressing the latest news from the Caribbean and Antilles markets.
GAT Caribe Cancun - Cancun, Mexico
November 27-28 will bring GAT to Mexico; a market with great potential. It is widely expected that regulatory reforms are on the way and the exposition will focus on the opportunities this may bring. The event is many months away and not many details are yet available; however, it looks set to be unmissable for industry stakeholders.
