Google Executive Behzadi Joins Sportradar as CTO and CAIO
In a move to improve its artificial intelligence and technology offerings, sports data provider Sportradar has appointed Behshad Behzadi as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO).
Behzadi served as the Co-Founder of Google Assistant, Google Lens, and Google Smart Display before joining Sportradar.

His rich career includes a notable spell at Google Zurich, where he played a pivotal role as the Co-Founder of Google Assistant, Google Lens, and Google Smart Display. He was most recently the lead for Google Cloud’s Conversational AI.

Behzadi to Use AI to Elevate Sportradar Products
In his new role, Behzadi will oversee the development and implementation of Sportradar’s technology strategy. As Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, he will collaborate with the various departments within Sportradar, facilitating the integration of AI solutions across the company to improve its product offerings and customer satisfaction.
With his appointment beginning immediately, Behzadi will work out of Sportradar’s Swiss headquarters and report directly to the company’s CEO, Carsten Koerl.

Sportradar Appoints Craig Felenstein
Behzadi’s appointment comes on the heels of Craig Felenstein joining Sportradar as the new Chief Financial Officer. Felenstein comes to the role with nearly thirty years of experience in the gaming industry. He will take over from Ger Griffin and start his role at the beginning of June.
