This expansive new resort boasts 750 slot machines, 20 table games, a full-service sportsbook, and Nebraska’s first-ever live poker room. Guests can also enjoy a luxury hotel with more than 160 rooms, a full-service spa, and both indoor and outdoor pools.
The project has been in the works since 2020. After evaluating several potential partners, Fonner Park ultimately chose to collaborate with Elite Casino Resorts.
Fonner Park chose us as a partner. There was a lot of meetings and presentations, but we knew they were the right partners for us and they knew we’d be the right partners for them.
According to officials, Elite’s reputation for operating high-end venues and maintaining dependable staffing made them the ideal choice.

Boosting the Local Economy
Beyond offering a new entertainment hub, the casino is expected to bring significant economic benefits to the area, including 425 full-time jobs. Fonner Park, along with the region’s horse racing industry, stands to gain as well.
It just seems like the process has gone so fast, but it was necessary for Nebraska Thoroughbred Racing to sustain itself, because frankly it was not sustaining itself. So I'm tickled to death that it's finally here. This is our savior.
Officials are optimistic that the partnership between Fonner Park and Elite Casino Resorts will continue to thrive and deliver long-term economic gains to the city.
