The development marks a significant achievement for Hacksaw Gaming in its quest to expand its presence in North America and the world. In the past year, the company secured provisional licenses in New Jersey, West Virginia, and Sweden.
The provider has also been partnering with operators in its targeted markets. Last month, it signed content distribution agreements with Top Bet in Bulgaria and NetBet in Denmark. It also struck a similar deal with Maxbet earlier this month.

Hacksaw Gaming enters Michigan at an important period when the state’s iGaming market is experiencing a consistent upward trend. Last month, the state was ranked as the top online casino gaming market in the United States by the American Gaming Association.
In January, the Great Lake state reported earning an all-time high revenue of $2.30bn from its iGaming and sports betting market, with iGaming contributing the highest at $1.40bn. The state is home to several operators, including FanDuel, Caesars Palace, BetMGM, Golden Nugget, and more.
