NBA Boosts Indiana Betting
The rise in sports betting was largely driven by the start of the new NBA season in late October, with basketball attracting the most bets totalling $145.7 million. Meanwhile, American football wasn’t far behind, garnering $136.9 million in wagers.
Baseball, though less prominent, still contributed $1.1 million. Parlay bets, which allow bettors to combine multiple selections, also played a significant role, accounting for $169.8 million, while other sports drew in $59.8 million in bets.
Blue Chip Casino and FanDuel Leading the Pack
Blue Chip Casino and FanDuel were the best-performing operators. Together, they generated $12.4 million in revenue from a total betting handle of $176.3 million. Ameristar Casino and DraftKings, which were at the top in October, now follow closely behind, with $10.5 million in revenue from a higher betting handle of $190.5 million.
