Kansas Reports Quarter Billion in Sports Bets for March
A total of $252.9 million was wagered by sports bettors in Kansas in March, only slightly less than the state’s monthly record.

Online Betting Leads the Way
The vast majority of the handle, $243.2 million, was bet online and just $9.7 million was bet at the state’s retail sportsbooks.
It generated $7.1 million in revenue in March, which is 22% less than the $9.1 million generated in March last year but an impressive 129% more than February’s revenue of $3.1 million.
No revenue was generated from retail betting in March, it was all generated online. The state made $714,697 from taxes in March.
The total amount bet from the start of the year to the end of March reached $1.86 billion, including $1.78 billion in online wagers and $83.3 million in retail bets. Revenue for the period amounted to $87.6 million, with $83.1 million from online operations and $4.5 million from retail.

DraftKings Maintains Lead in Kansas
DraftKings and its partner Boot Hill led the Kansas online market, generating $4.7 million in revenue from $98.3 million in bets during March. Following them, FanDuel and Kansas Star earned $2.2 million in online revenue from $70.2 million in total bets.
Caesars and Kansas Crossing were the only other partnership to earn revenue in March, totaling $257,071 from $11.9 million in bets. Two other partnerships had higher bet totals but did not generate revenue: Kansas Crossing and BetMGM with $42.7 million, and Hollywood with ESPN Bet processing $17.9 million.
Fanatics became Kansas Crossing's third partner in March after the completed PointsBet acquisition, with players betting $1.3 million through the partnership.
