Kindred Group and Rangers FC to Promote Safer Gambling
Kindred Group, the parent company of numerous leading gambling brands, is set to increase awareness of its safer gambling program, Journey towards Zero, through a new shirt sponsorship deal with Rangers FC, one of Scotland’s top football teams.
Unibet, one of Kindred’s top brands, is set to have a prominent position on Rangers’ home kit. The brand’s logo, together with the slogan “Zero % Mission,” will be placed on the front of the kit, occupying the position that used to be taken by 32Red. The new deal has been confirmed for the 2023-24 season.
Kindred Group announced Journey Towards Zero a number of years ago. The aim is for there to be no revenue generated by problem gamblers or at-risk players. It is the only gambling operator to create such a program, and Kindred Group releases progress reports every quarter.
As we look forward to the new season with today’s kit launch, we’re excited to continue the work we’ve done with our valued principal sponsor and to highlight ways in which people can gamble responsibly and safely. Our partnership with Kindred has been incredibly successful, as underlined by the longevity of our deal.
Neil Banbury, Kindred’s general manager UK, also hailed the collaboration. He explained that the company is committed to transparency and that they believe that by making the most of such deals, they can provide the safest form of gambling. He spoke about the company’s successful work with Rangers over the last decade and about how the company is continuing to develop new technology as part of its Journey towards Zero initiative.
