Light & Wonder Appoints Michael Marchetti to Board of Directors
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:iGaming products provider Light & Wonder has announced the appointment of Michael Marchetti to its Board of Directors.
Prior to the new role, Marchetti served as SciPlay Corporation's Director until its acquisition by Light & Wonder in October 2023. Before that, he held positions as CEO at Buffalo Studios, Co-Founder and Board Member of Little Labs. He also worked as the SVP and GM of Pogo, Social Games & Mobile at Electronic Arts (EA).
He is currently the CFO and Executive Committee Member at Age of Learning and will resume his new role by 15 January 2024. His position will be subject to the standard re-election process during Light & Wonder's annual meeting later this year.

Marchetti earned a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from Brooklyn College before pursuing further studies at Brooklyn Law School. With his wealth of experience and career achievements, the board believes Marchetti is exceptionally equipped to drive strategic decisions and steer the company towards continued success.

Oliver Chow’s Promotion
Marchetti’s appointment follows the promotion of Oliver Chow to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the company.
Marchetti joined Light & Wonder in 2022 as Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance before becoming the interim CFO a year later. Before Light & Wonder, Marchetti served as CFO for the Americas division at Aristocrat. He has also worked in various leading companies like Universal Pictures, Deluxe Entertainment Services and JP Morgan Chase.
