MansionBet Set to Shut Down on March 31
Mansion Group, the owner of several iGaming and sports betting operators, has announced its plans to shutter its MansionBet brand as it decides to focus only on its casino brands.
According to the operator, several reasons led to it discontinuing its sports betting operations, including its desire to give more attention to its online casino brands, high competition, and regulatory factors.
To make its intention known to its subscribers, Mansion Group sent a general email stating that the MansionBet Sportsbook would stop accepting bets and be “closed to all customers” from March 31.
Starting from this day, punters would not be able to deposit, wager or withdraw from the site. However, the bookie will still pay every winning bet placed before April 28 in full.
The email also asserted that the website will remain open for all customers to process withdrawals until the end of April 28, 2022. After that, any player who wishes to withdraw their remaining funds must request through the site’s customer support team.
With the shutter of its sportsbook brand, Mansion plans to focus more on its casino sites, including Mansion Casino, SlotsHeaven, and Casino.com. The company is also actively working on getting licenses in new jurisdictions, including Ontario, which is about to go live on April 4.
“There are other markets such as Spain, where we are operating with MansionCasino.es, and Canada, where we are in the process of applying for a license for their flagship brand, Casino.com, in the soon-to-be regulated Ontario market.” The email stated.
