MGM Resorts Raises Fees for Las Vegas Visitors
MGM Resorts International has announced an increase in resort and parking fees across its properties on and near the Las Vegas Strip, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The adjustments, which come into effect today, reflect rising costs for bundled services and amenities offered to guests and visitors. The company has stated that these changes align with marketplace standards and are necessary to maintain competitiveness both locally and nationally.

Resort fees at some of MGM's most prominent properties will see significant adjustments. Aria, The Bellagio, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Vdara will all increase their daily resort fee to $55, a $5 increase.
Related: US Senators Want to Address Casino Resort FeesOther properties, including Delano, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, NoMad, Park MGM and The Signature, will also experience increases. Delano, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay will charge $50 daily, while the other three will see an $8 hike to the same $50 rate. Properties such as New York-New York, Luxor, and Excalibur will adjust their fees to $45 per day, marking a $3 increase for New York-New York and an $8 increase for the other two resorts.
MGM Resorts last raised its resort fees in January, making this the second adjustment within the year. Resort fees cover a range of services that include phone calls, Wi-Fi access, access to streaming services and more. MGM stated that the pricing structure is reviewed periodically to account for the evolving range of services included in the fee and to ensure competitiveness with other major resort operators.

Other Fees Going Up
Parking fees for visitors and guests will also see increases. Self-parking visitors will now pay $20 for Monday through Thursday stays, up from the current $18, and $25 on weekends, up from $23. Hotel guests who self-park will face a flat fee of $20 daily, an increase of $2. Valet parking charges will rise to $40 per day at all MGM properties, regardless of the day of the week. Previously, valet fees ranged between $25 and $40, depending on the property and the day.
Certain visitors and members will continue to enjoy parking privileges. Members of MGM Rewards with pearl tier status or higher can self-park at no cost, while gold tier members or higher qualify for complimentary valet parking.
In addition, active members of the U.S. military, veterans, and their spouses will also retain free parking benefits through the MGM Rewards Military & Veterans Program. Local residents with valid Nevada identification can park free of charge for up to three hours at any MGM Resorts property.
MGM Resorts emphasized that these changes reflect industry-wide standards and were implemented to ensure the company continues offering high-quality services to its guests.
