MGM Resorts Strike Major Partnership with the New York Yankees
MGM Resorts International has announced that it is now a “Proud Partner of the New York Yankees”.
New partnership announced between MGM Resorts and New York Yankees.
The deal between the two has been designed to provide MGM Rewards members and baseball enthusiasts with unique VIP opportunities such as watching batting practice from the warning track and throwing out a ceremonial first pitch at Yankee Stadium.
Additionally, the branding of MGM Resorts International will be prominently displayed at Yankee Stadium through LED signage, first and third base rotational signage, and on the back of the pitcher’s mound during select local TV broadcasts.
Special Activities Coming to Empire City Casino
As part of this collaboration, MGM Resorts’ Empire City Casino in New York will host New York Yankees-themed fan activities and events, involving both current and former Major League Baseball players.
Since November 2018, MGM Resorts has had a comprehensive partnership with Major League Baseball in the U.S. and Japan, becoming the first “Official Gaming Partner of MLB” and “Official Entertainment Partner of MLB.” Since 2022, MGM Resorts has also been an “Official Partner of MLB Players, Inc.”
We remain committed to investing in the community while collaborating with the New York Yankees to provide unparalleled experiences for baseball fans. Our company has managed Empire City Casino and Yonkers Raceway for the past five years. As we strive to obtain a full commercial casino license for Empire City, this partnership helps us enhance these properties and offer the world-class hospitality synonymous with the MGM Resorts brand.

Greater Exposure for MGM Resorts
Michael Tusiani, the Senior Vice President of Partnerships for the New York Yankees, explained that with branding inside the Yankee Stadium and visible on television broadcasts, MGM Resorts will gain significant exposure and recognition for its resort and casino properties, especially Empire City Casino.
Players will also benefit from Ed Domingo, President and COO of MGM Resorts’ Empire City Casino, explaining that the partnership will lead to the creation of unique and engaging experiences for guests and baseball fans. Furthermore, the partnership could boost the community in the Bronx. Domingo highlighted the fact that Empire City is very close to the area, and it is not only a favorite gaming destination for Bronx residents but also employs hundreds of Bronx locals, and he foresees “significantly increasing that number once we secure a full-scale commercial casino license.”
