New Role for Shelley Williams at Hard Rock International
Hard Rock International, one of the world’s best-known brands, has announced that it has appointed Shelley Williams to the job of Director of Global Sales for Meetings and Events.
Williams has more than 25 years of experience working in the global hospitality industry, which includes time with Caesars Entertainment (NASDAQ: CZR), the Westmont Hospitality Group, and the University of Windsor. She has won awards for her previous work and will be reporting directly to Danielle Babilino, the Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing, in her new role.
Before being appointed to her latest job, Williams was working as Vice President of Sales at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. There, she was the opening sales leader at the largest corporate operating hotel for the brand. Her responsibilities included the recruitment and training of the sales team while simultaneously leading hospitality sales and convention services and working as a vital post-pandemic business recovery leader.
Shelley’s overall experience and her intimate knowledge of our brand will be an invaluable asset to Hard Rock International, especially as we continue to evolve the global sales and marketing effort in the meetings and events space.
Speaking of her new appointment, Williams described it as a “privilege” to continue working for Hard Rock International. She added, “This exciting new role will allow me to bring innovative ideas and opportunities to our ever-growing global portfolio of hotels.”
Williams read for a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree while specializing in International Business at the Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. She also holds Executive Certificates in CRM/Business Strategies from the Universidad de Montevideo, Montevideo, Uruguay, and Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University.
