Nuvei Corporation Expands Partnership with Eyas Gaming

Eyas Gaming, the company behind brands such as Merkur Slots and Merkur Casino, has announced that it is extending its partnership with Nuvei Corporation, a payment platform provider.

Under the terms of the deal, Nuvei will be providing Eyas Gaming with its full payment solution for all of Eyas Gaming’s Merkur brands. Furthermore, Nuvei has formed a partnership with the UK-based Fonix, a direct carrier billing provider, which will allow Eyas Gaming customers to charge deposits straight to their mobile.

The two first formed a partnership in October 2021, but the new agreement represents a significant expansion of its terms. Players at Eyas Gaming brands will be able to carry out transactions using cards and alternative payment methods (APMs), including digital wallets and direct transfers, courtesy of Nuvei’s platform.

Philip Fayer, the CEO, and Chair of Nuvei Corporation said that the agreement is further evidence of the company’s market-leading position building upon its recent licensing by the New York State Gaming Commission. He added, “We’re looking forward to continuing to support Eyas Gaming and its growth into new markets in the coming years.”

Rob Weisz, the CEO of Fonix, also welcomed the announcement saying that the company is “excited” about it. He explained that the integration between Fonix and Nuvei means that Eyas Gaming is able to activate carrier billing with “the flick of a switch”. Weisz added that the company has plans to offer the same service to the German iGaming market.
