Pennsylvania Gaming March 2025 Revenue Hits Record Highs
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has released its revenue figures for March 2025, revealing that the month set new benchmarks for total gaming and iGaming revenue in the state.

According to the PGCB, total gaming revenue in March reached $574.5 million, up 3.6% year-over-year.
The state's retail slots operations accounted for the bulk of the revenue at $222.5 million. However, this figure dropped by 2.4% compared to March 2024. Retail table revenue also declined in the month, falling by 3.9% year-on-year to $81.9 million.
Video gaming terminals (VGT) didn't buck the trend, as revenue from the vertical also dipped by 0.64% to $3.7 million.
Parx Casino in Bucks County led the pack in retail slot revenue for March with $34.4 million, a slight 0.19% increase from the same period last year. Wind Creek Bethlehem and Rivers Casino Pittsburgh saw retail slot revenue drop by 5.8% and 3.6% year-over-year but still earned $25.8 million and $24.3 million, respectively, in the month.
However, in the retail games category, Wind Creek Bethlehem topped the revenue charts with $23.4 million, a 14.8% jump from the previous year. Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course saw the highest rise in table game revenue at 76.31%.

iGaming Revenue Breaks Record
Online gaming accounted for $238.2 million of the total revenue during March. The figure surged 24.7% year-over-year, surpassing the previous record of almost $223.7 million set in December 2024.
The primary driver of the record revenue was iGaming slots, which increased 32.5% year-over-year to $179.5 million.
With $90.7 million, Hollywood Casino led all properties in iGaming revenue. Valley Forge Casino Resort generated $64.8 million, while Rivers Casino Philadelphia reported $38.6 million.
Sports Betting Revenue Decline
In March 2025, Pennsylvanians placed a total of $842.9 million in sports bets, up 5.26% year-over-year. Despite the large betting handle, the state's sports betting industry generated only $27 million in revenue, a 40.7% decline from the previous year.
Valley Forge Casino Resort and Hollywood Casino at the Meadows generated the highest sports betting revenues at $9.4 million and $8.8 million, respectively.
