Play’n GO Release New Rock Music Slot
The leading slots developer Play’n GO has joined forces with a popular Swedish rock band to release HammerFall slots.
The slot is based upon the band, which is one of Europe’s most successful power metal groups. HammerFall, together with bands such as Iron Maiden and Helloween, are widely recognized for having increased the popularity of the genre and defining its sound.
However, the slot combines the band with a fantasy theme, meaning that it will appeal to a wide range of players. It focuses on HammerFall’s mascot, Hector the Paladin, and he will help players fight their way to victory and riches while listening to some of the band’s greatest hits.
The slot is absolutely packed with bonuses. There are song features that are triggered by filling the charge meter and each of the songs transports players to a different world within the game. The worlds are based upon HammerFall tracks and there is also the chance to trigger the Hammer High Overcharge and experience all three song features in succession.
Play’n GO started launching music slots in 2018 and the games have been hugely popular. They have collaborated with a number of rock bands including Saxon, Twisted Sister, Testament, and Candlemass for their House of Doom slot. Each of the games brings its respective band to life on the reels through graphics, game play and bonus features.
Play’n GO CEO Johan Törnqvist believes that this is essential to creating the best possible games:
Our music slots are a representation of ourselves and the band’s they feature. We don’t want to slap a few songs onto an average slot and call it a day; that’s not the way we work. We work with the bands to capture their persona and make sure that the gameplay matches their style and their music, giving a well-rounded gaming experience to players, and it’s working.
