Play’n GO Bags Ontario Supplier License

A-list iGaming software developer Play'n GO has joined the list of suppliers granted a license to offer games in the yet-to-be-launched Ontario market.

After meeting the necessary regulatory requirements, the provider's license application was successful and approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Canada (AGCO).

The license gives Play'n GO the legal backing to deliver its wide range of games to region-approved operators. Some of the popular titles that would be available for real-money play include Book of Dead, Rise of Olympus, and Tome of Madness.

According to the firm, getting an Ontario license will aid its engagement with all regulated jurisdictions. It would also increase the player base of the company as well as its games' visibility.

The launch of the Ontario iGaming market is slated for April 4. So far, over ten online casino operators and software suppliers have been licensed by the AGCO, including Gaming Realms (LON: GMR), 888 (LON: 888), Bragg Gaming Group (TSE: BRAG), and High Five Games.

Regulated markets are vital, not just to Play'n GO's business strategy, but to the industry as a whole; they ensure a safe gaming environment for players, and operators can focus on providing a fun and entertaining experience that is truly sustainable. Ontario is an important province, representing some 40% of the population of Canada, and we look forward to players there enjoying our games. With Ontario's regulated market opening, followed by our entry into the USA, it's set to be an exciting year for Play'n GO.
