PlayOJO Set to Launch in New Jersey
SkillOnNet, the online gambling platform provider that powers some of the best-known casino brands, is set to make its debut in the US market in New Jersey thanks to a market access deal with Caesars Entertainment (NASDAQ: CZR).
Assuming the deal receives regulatory approval, it will allow SkillOnNet to launch its flagship PlayOJO brand on its own proprietary software. The company hopes to disrupt the market in New Jersey with its fully transparent and fair approach to gaming. The deal comes after the company has enjoyed a huge amount of success in European markets, where it is among the top performers in its category in a number of regulated jurisdictions.
SkillOnNet now plans to set up a local headquarters operation in the US with teams dedicated to marketing, product development and technology. They will also be seeking to secure further market access partnerships as well as iGaming and media deals across the US.
The company’s entry into the New Jersey market is part of its wider growth plan to establish a presence in the US. It hopes that its online casino brand, which is known to attract casual gamers, together with investment in mass media marketing, will see it emulate its European success. SkillOnNet believes that the US has particular strategic importance and as such, is hoping to launch in as many states as possible.
This is a milestone opportunity for SkillOnNet. We have seen the immense growth in New Jersey and very successful iGaming launches in other US states. PlayOJO offers an unrivalled gaming experience with a huge game portfolio and focus on safe and fair gambling. We are confident that launching this casino focused challenger brand at this stage of the market evolution, will allow us to build a meaningful market share within few years of operation.
