The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 provides a structure for an information security management system (ISMS). It also addresses more recent issues such as cloud computing, remote working, and the integration of emerging technologies.
The certification was awarded by Quinel and is an upgrade from ISO 27001:2013 certification an earlier ISO accreditation. As well as the new features covered in the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 accreditation this version also includes updates and revisions.
New Accreditation to Play a Key Role in Growth
The statement outlines Playson’s plans for the future concerning the growth of the company. Playson will increase its footprint in new territories in the next year and says this move allows the supplier to accomplish this in a more streamlined manner. The accreditation is advantageous to the provider for entry into new markets.
Playson has recently carried out an internal review to formalize a corporate strategy which has led to Playson carrying out a raft of internal promotions.
More Business News
Some jurisdictions are increasingly insisting it is a requirement by providers to meet certification standards for security protocols before they can operate in regulated gaming markets, Switzerland is one the countries where ISO accreditation is mandatory for a business in the gaming sector to operate.
The transition to ISO 2022 is welcome news for the business, and shows our continued dedication to compliance and regulation. Partners can rest assured of Playson's heightened security measures and adherence to international standards with us acquiring this certificate. Greece, Ontario and Sweden are vital territories for Playson, with this certification also necessary for the Swiss market, and I expect the ISO 2022 to be required for more jurisdictions in the future, so this recognition has been received at a good time as we look to strengthen our global standing.
