Record Revenues and Sales for Fantasma Games in Q1
Fantasma Games, the developer of online slots, has announced record financial results for the first quarter of 2022. The company’s net sales reached SEK4.8 million, an increase of 349% year on year.
There was also a 279% year-on-year increase in gaming revenue, which totaled SEK4.1 million, total gaming sales were up 61% to SEK2.8 million, and gaming profit was up 81% to SEK38 million, thanks to a 3.6% margin.
The year began with Fantasma Games’ best-ever month in regards to gaming revenue, and it was followed by two more very strong months. One of the key drivers of growth in Q1 was the release of Medallion Megаways in February through Relax Gaming’s Silver Bullet platform, as well as integrations with a number of tier-one operators such as Entain, Gamesys, and Veikkaus.
Furthermore, Fantasma Games’ acquisition of Weiner Games in September last year paid dividends during the quarter, with the studio contributing SEK1.9 million in net sales. Other highlights of the quarter included signing a deal with the streaming platform Livespins and launching a portfolio for social gaming.
Fantasma Games has also recently launched in the US market, with its games going live exclusively with BetMGM in West Virginia and Michigan.
This has started off great for Fantasma Games achieving net sales of SEK4.8m during the three months. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication that the Fantasma team puts in day in and day out in order to achieve our goal of creating slots beyond gambling and delivering thrilling, exciting, and highly entertaining experiences to players. It has also been a significant quarter in terms of new operator partnerships, chart-topping game launches, and entering new markets. We have already made a great start to Q2, with a new all-time high with the double Gross Game Revenue in April, and I, for one, look forward to keeping pushing ahead now that we have tremendous momentum behind us.
