Revisit the 80s in Push Gaming’s New Retro Tapes Slot
Push Gaming, the iGaming supplier, has announced the release of Retro Tapes slot, an 80s themed game that brings back the developer’s popular Cluster Link mechanic.
The game takes place on a 6x9 grid and uses a cluster pays mechanic. On the reels are symbols showing different colored cassette tapes that must land in clusters of at least five to award a payout. The slot also features cascading reels, meaning that winning clusters are removed from the grid to allow more symbols to fall from above.
Special instant prize symbols can also land with values ranging from x1 up to x1,000. Furthermore, there are wild tape symbols that make it even easier to land winning clusters. Better yet, the wild tapes land with a x1 multiplier and it increases by +1 for each win that the symbol helps to form. Push Gaming has also included special bonus magnet symbols can gather all instances of a particular symbol into a cluster.
If players land three wild tapes then the free spins are triggered. During the round, all the wilds and instant cash prizes are held in place. On each spin, either instant cash prizes, wild tapes, wild multipliers, magnet symbols or extra spin symbols can land to help players towards the slot’s top payout of 10,000x.
