Rivalry Receives Go-Ahead to Launch in Ontario Market

Esports betting platform Rivalry corporation has reportedly gotten approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to launch its betting and online gaming service in Ontario.

Rivalry is one of the first three approved operators in the jurisdiction. The sports and eSports betting platform followed PointsBet and Penn National Gaming’s subsidiary theScore Bet, who have both achieved full registration.

When Ontario’s iGaming market launches on 4 April 2022, Rivalry and the other approved operators will be free to attract customers and offer their services in the market.

Rivalry Corporation officially launched in 2018 with headquarters in Toronto. However, over the years, the company has achieved a presence in 18 countries. It offers players a wide range of sports to bet on, including hockey, basketball, football, tennis, and more.

However, the company’s main focus is on esports. It offers odds on esports globally like CS:GO, Call of Duty, and Overwatch and also keeps customers up-to-date with the latest news in the industry. Not quite long ago, Rivalry launched its eSports casino game titled Rushlane. The game has a racing theme and is based on the Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMO) concept.

We are very pleased to be one of the first companies to be registered as an internet gaming operator in Ontario. As a proud Toronto-founded and based company, it’s a particular privilege to be able to finally offer our innovative product legally and responsibly in our backyard. I’m confident we will deliver a differentiated experience that will elevate what consumers think sports betting can be.
