RSI Extends Partnership with Kambi
Leading casino and iGaming operator Rush Street Interactive has extended its betting technology deal with B2B betting solutions provider Kambi Group.
The duo’s business relationship started in 2018 when the two signed a partnership after the repeal of PASPA (the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act). PASPA limited sports betting in the US to the state of Nevada. Thus, its repeal meant more states were permitted to offer sports betting in their jurisdictions, which led to a statewide expansion of sports betting in the US.
Kambi was with RSI, powering the operator with its sportsbook technology as the latter launched and expanded into 15 different sports betting markets across the US, including states like Pennsylvania, Illinois, and New York. The partnership has also expanded outside the US into countries like Mexico, Canada, and Colombia.
With the extended agreement, Kambi will continue to provide RSI with its award-winning sportsbook technology, which has aided the latter’s growth in the United States and North America’s sports betting markets.
RSI was the first US-based operator we partnered with post-PASPA, and it has been fantastic to witness RSI become one of the leading online gaming players in the Americas. This contract extension ensures Kambi’s sportsbook will continue to complement RSI’s proprietary technology and platform, which together will provide the basis for even greater success in the future.
