RSI Strengthens Board with Addition of GNOG Founder
Online casino and sports betting operator Rush Street Interactive has appointed Thomas Winter to its Board of Directors.
With the appointment of Winters, RSI board is now complete with nine members.
With nearly two decades of industry experience, Winter has established himself as a respected executive in online gaming. In 2013, he founded Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG), taking on the role of President. With his leadership, GNOG emerged as a leading operator in New Jersey, securing top market share and prominence in the state.
Following its successful IPO debut, GNOG was acquired by DraftKings for $1.5 billion; Winter then led and executed online casino strategy for the company until September 2023.
Before establishing GNOG, Winter served as COO and subsequently CEO and Director of Betclic and Expekt, two leading European betting and iGaming brands.
We are thrilled to welcome Thomas to our board. His proven track record in the online gaming industry and his strategic vision will be invaluable as we continue to expand our footprint and enhance our offerings. We look forward to his contributions and are confident that his expertise will help drive our future success.
