Rush Street Appoints Bruce Caughill as Managing Director
Rush Street Interactive (RSI) has announced that Bruce Caughill has assumed the position of Managing Director of RSI's Canadian division. The latest development comes shortly after another major change in RSI's senior management — the appointment of Tim Drehkoff as CEO.
Caughill will oversee the Rush Street transition into Canada following the regulation change on April 4th. RSI is one of sixteen operators who have been granted licenses by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) to operate in the Ontario province with the new open regulations.
We welcome Bruce who, with his unparalleled legal, operational and regulatory expertise in Canada's gaming industry, will provide strong insight, guidance and counsel in this exciting new online market, Bruce's proven leadership capability, extensive experience and strategic thinking make him a great addition to RSI.
Caughill has over 20 years in the Canadian gaming industry, and most recently, he was Chief Legal Officer at the AGCO regulatory body in Canada. He joins from the Ontario regulator, where he played a key role in drawing up the legislative structure and rules for proposed operators in the iGaming sector in the Canadian province.
Rush Street believes that following Caughills arrival, his leadership will allow RSI to smoothly navigate its entry into this new Canadian market.
I am excited to bring my years of experience in Canadian gaming to support RSI's pursuit of opportunities in Canada, I am particularly excited at the prospect of supporting the many local Canadian employees as the company establishes its Innovation Hub here.
