Rush Street Unveils Responsible Gaming Program for Students
Rush Street Interactive, the parent company of BetRivers, has teamed up with Integrity Compliance 360 IC360 to introduce a responsible gambling initiative targeted at high school students.

Named Gaming Literacy Aiding Decisions (GLAD), the program aims to equip high school students with the knowledge and skills necessary for responsible gambling practices.
In the US, federal betting laws require individuals to be at least 21 years old to participate in legal gambling activities. However, past studies have indicated a case of rising underage gambling despite the age restriction.
According to RSI, the rise of technology has made online gambling more mainstream and widely accessible. The company’s goal is to help young people develop healthy relationships with gambling.
At RSI, we believe our role as a leading online gambling operator goes beyond simply committing financial resources. We have a responsibility to seek out and create opportunities that empower young people with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions—so that when the time comes, they can determine for themselves, with confidence and understanding, what relationship, if any, they wish to have with gambling products.
Delaware and New Jersey will be the first states where BetRivers will implement the GLDA program, given its sole gambling operator status in the former.
The initiative will complement Delaware’s efforts to curb underage gambling and prevent unauthorized gaming activities in its jurisdiction. Last month, Virtual Gaming Worlds exited the state after receiving a cease-and-desist order from the Delaware gaming regulator.
