Scientific Games Extend Deal with the Texas Lottery Until 2024
Scientific Games has extended its partnership with the Texas Lottery to supply scratch ticket games and custom promotions.
Under the terms of the updated agreement, Scientific Games will provide the state lottery with its new SCIQ solution. The B2B developer describes it as a state-of-the-art lottery retail technology ecosystem that enhances security and in-store display for scratch tickets and is efficient for the different aspects of a retailer’s services, including marketing, accounting, inventory, and operations.
While the new deal will be valid until 2024, Scientific Games will start the launch of the new products in 2023.
Scientific Games’ products and promotions played an important role in the Texas Lottery achieving more than $6.73bn in scratch ticket sales for fiscal year 2022. We look forward to partnering on more memorable player experiences together while bringing SCiQ to our retailers to advance the technology supporting our scratch ticket game sales.
Scientific Games and the Texas Lottery have been in partnership since 1992 when the state began its lottery program. Since then, the lottery has generated more than $35b for charity purposes.
