Scientific Games Wins Contract to Power Ohio Lottery

The Ohio Lottery has selected Scientific Games as its new gaming system technology partner after conducting a thorough and competitive evaluation process.

Scientific Games will also supply the Ohio Lottery with scratch-off games.

The multi-year agreement will see Scientific Games deliver its Momentum ecosystem to the Ohio Lottery, featuring the advanced AEGIS central gaming system and Infuse business intelligence solution.

The company will also supply the Ohio Lottery with scratch-off games and manage their production through its Enhanced Partnership program, successfully implemented at its Cleveland-area facility since 2019.

Furthermore, Scientific Games will provide its advanced point-of-sales terminals and Lottery InMotion digital content system to support the Ohio Lottery's extensive network of retailers. It will also deploy its PlayCentral suite of self-service machines to offer players a wider variety of games while supporting the expansion of retailer and restaurant locations.

Scientific Games welcomed the opportunity to become the Ohio Lottery's technology partner and pledged to 'drive future growth and sustainability' for the lottery.

Scientific Games has established partnerships with 150 lotteries across 50 countries, including Germany, which it added to its portfolio in April of this year.

In October, the company appointed Patrick Homm as its new Vice President of Systems Engineering to oversee the company's lottery systems technology.

Homm has been with the business since 2022 and has led several lottery projects that have driven the company's growth and expansion in the global lottery market.
