SIGMA Europe to Offer More Space to Exhibitors than Ever
The SiGMA Group is thrilled to announce that its upcoming SiGMA Europe event will be held at the Mediterranean Maritime Hub (MMH) shipbuilding yards in Marsa, Malta, this November. With increased demand from delegates and exhibitors, SiGMA has sought out a larger and more dynamic space, moving away from its traditional venue, the MFCC in Ta' Qali.
The MMH shipyard in Marsa, an operational shipbuilding yard at the heart of Malta's longstanding shipbuilding industry, offers a unique and unconventional space unlike any other used before. SiGMA aims to lead the way in adapting non-traditional locations, bringing new life to traditional industries like shipbuilding.
The new venue provides exhibitors with an incredible 20,000 square meters of space, accommodating sectors of entrepreneurship, commerce, and emerging tech. Against the backdrop of heavy industry, this setting creates a fresh and innovative atmosphere for the event.
Speaking on behalf of the MMH, Executive Chairperson Angelique Abela expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, "MMH's 20,000 square meters covered industrial sheds and waterside facilities within the Mediterranean Maritime Hub shall surely provide an innovative and unique setup for a record-breaking and successful 2023 SiGMA event."
To enhance accessibility, an exclusive ferry service will be available, directly connecting the venue to Valletta, the ancient capital city of Malta, located on the edge of the Grand Harbour. Additionally, the venue will offer 100 meters of berthing spots for private meetings between tier one gaming brands.
Networking events will also take place in Valletta, moving away from the St Julian's area. With its UNESCO World Heritage Centre and picturesque streets, Valletta provides the ideal backdrop for elegant networking dinners and drinks. The prestigious awards ceremony and the Closing Night party will be held at the beautiful Malta Convention Centre (MCC) in Valletta.
SiGMA Europe, taking place from November 13th to 17th, will be an event that combines the unconventional and the historic. Delegates are encouraged to book their stay near the expo in Marsa Shipbuilding and SiGMA has secured great deals with the best hotels in Valletta.
SIGMA on a New Journey
Over the last decade, the SiGMA Group has experienced remarkable growth, expanding its focus from a local event to international events across four continents. In 2020, the group ventured into affiliation with the launch of its B2C media platform, SiGMA Play. With its gaming, emerging tech, and marketing affiliation brands, SiGMA welcomed 25,000 delegates to its 2022 Malta Week event.
SiGMA Europe at the MMH shipbuilding yards represents a new chapter in SiGMA's journey, promising an innovative and immersive experience for all participants.
