Strive Gaming Names Andrew Holmes as COO
Leading real money and free to play iGaming operator Strive Gaming has announced the appointment of Andrew Holmes as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Prior to his appointment, Holmes was the Vice President of Twin Spires, the online betting division of Churchill Downs. He also served in several capacities in the banking, e-commerce, and B2C sectors.
As the new COO, Holmes will work with the core of Strive’s management team, including Chief Executive Max Meltzer, President and Chief Commercial Officer Damian Xuereb, and Chief Technology Officer Jesse Cary. Directly working from the company’s headquarters office in Vancouver, he will be responsible for developing and positioning the firm’s iGaming platform in Canada and the US amidst regulation changes.
Joining Strive as COO represents the culmination of an incredible few years within the iGaming industry for me on a personal level. I already see the business as the market-leading platform in the US and Canada, and I’m very much looking forward to doing everything I can to cement that status through product and operational excellence.
Speaking on the appointment of Holmes, the Chief Executive of Strive Gaming, Max Meltzer described the move as a “significant step forward” for Strive the company as it continues to deliver on its “promise of becoming the leading B2B real money iGaming platform in North America.”
In February, Strive Gaming entered into a long-term partnership with GNOG to power the latter’s sportsbook launch in Arizona.
