Vanessa Hudgens Becomes Latest BetMGM Celebrity Ambassador
Online sportsbook and iGaming operator BetMGM has appointed Vanessa Hudgens as its celebrity brand ambassador.
The partnership will see the American actress and singer feature in upcoming campaigns for the betting platform. She will also appear in promotions and social media for BetMGM's iGaming and casino platforms.
Vanessa Hudgens is extremely gifted and will be instrumental in BetMGM's ongoing evolution as an entertainment company. We look forward to the partnership and her support in our goal of reaching new audiences in unique and engaging ways.
Vanessa Anne Hudgens made her feature film debut in Thirteen and rose to the limelight after acting as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical film series. The first movie's success gave her much-needed mainstream media success and a huge recording contract with Hollywood Records.
She is one of the most followed American actresses online, having over 47 million followers on her Instagram page. BetMGM aims to attract some of this crowd to its platform and increase its player base with the deal. California, the 33-year-old actress's home state, has yet to legalize sports betting. However, the jurisdiction is going through an expensive ballot-initiative campaign worth $400 million and counting that could see the state open its sports betting market.
Earlier this month, BetMGM partnered with Arizona Cardinals to open the first NFL Sportsbook in the United States of America.
