Spelinspektionen Shuts Down MRSL NV Operations in Sweden
The Swedish Gaming Authority, Spelinspektionen, has announced the ban of MRSL NV from Sweden.
With the ban, MSRL NV will no longer be able to accept bets from players in Sweden.
LISTEN TO THIS ARTICLE:The Swedish regulator has prohibited the Curacao-registered gambling operator from offering casino games to its players without the necessary license.
According to the regulator, it is committed to enforcing measures that ensure gambling activities are conducted with licensed operators in Sweden to promote a safe and regulated gambling environment.
MRSL NV operates a number of online casinos, including MrSloty, Goldenbet, JackBit, CryptoLeo and several others. With its ban in Sweden, the operator can no longer legally accept bets from customers in the region or target Swedish players in its marketing campaigns.
In recent months, Spelinspektionen has banned several operators from the Swedish market over licensing issues, including Equinox Dynamic, Alpha Interactive Solutions, Nero Media and WiseAvant OÜ.
However, the Authority has also lifted its ban decisions on some companies like Gammix Limited and Rebels Gaming.

Sweden Regulator Joins ULIS
Last week, proving its commitment to sports integrity, Spelinspektionen became an associate member of ULIS, the United Lotteries for Integrity in Sports. The two entities will work together to monitor and address issues related to match-fixing domestically and internationally.
Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, ULIS partners with international partners to identify suspicious betting patterns and alert relevant authorities to potential match-fixing and corruption threats.
The Spelinspektionen is not the only gambling regulator actively cleansing its market of illegal operators. Roughly 1,644 miles away, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) is also enforcing regulations against erring betting platforms. Last month, the MGA revoked Tipbet's gaming license, effectively halting the operator's activities in the country.
