If you’re familiar with standard live casino blackjack tables, you’re probably aware of their inherent flaws. They aren’t very suitable for low rollers, and many players have to bet behind while they wait for a free seat.

To tackle this problem, Evolution Gaming introduced Infinite Blackjack in October 2018. In this version of the game, all players are initially dealt an identical two-card hand. However, thanks to smart technology, everyone can choose what moves to make from thereon.

This isn’t the first one-to-many live blackjack title out there, but the Evolution variant has some exciting features that make it stand out. Our Infinite Blackjack review will tell you about all the important details and help you find a suitable online casino.

The Basic Infinite Blackjack Rules

One thing that’s standard about this game is the set of rules. They are close to the Vegas Strip ones. There’s an infinite deck blackjack dealer; he uses a shoe with eight 52-card sets and must stand on a soft 17.

After you get the first two cards, you can double down on any combination. The sole exception here is blackjack – in that case, you automatically win. Splits are possible anytime you’re dealt cards of equal value, but you can only do it once per game. Also, you can’t double down following a split.

If the house’s first card is an Ace, the croupier will peek to see if there’s a blackjack. You can place an insurance bet as protection. It pays 2:1, but we advise you to skip it as its RTP value isn’t that great. The Six Card Charlie rule is a great little addition to Evolution Gaming Infinite Blackjack. If you don’t go over 21 with a hand of 6 cards, you’ll win even if the dealer has a blackjack. For comparison, most other versions have a Ten Card Charlie, so here, your odds are much better.

Super Side Bets

The classic blackjack experience is entertaining, but you can also find it everywhere. This release is unique because it offers a quartet of optional bets that can spice up your regular sessions. The house edge on the side bets is greater, but so are the payouts.

We’ll discuss the financial aspects in a bit, but first, let’s see the available options in Infinite Blackjack:

  • Hot 3 – Put money here if you think that your initial pair and the dealer’s face-up card will make a sum of 19, 20, or 21.
  • 21+3 – Another bet where the first three face-up cards are involved. You’ll get ascending payouts for forming a flush, straight, three-of-a-kind, straight flush, or suited trips.
  • Any pair – You’ll win if your first two cards are identical (i.e., a couple of 10s). Suited pairs pay better.
  • Bust it – Do you have a hunch that the dealer’s going to bust? Bet on it. The more cards the dealer draws before going over 21, the better it is for you.

Tips on How to Play Blackjack Infinite

The layout of Infinite Blackjack is simple and intuitive. It’s also very similar to that of any other "21" game you’ll find in the Evolution lobby. When you enter a stream, you’ll usually have to wait for the next round to begin. After it does, you’ll see colored chips of different monetary values at the bottom of the screen. Sitting above them are 5 wagering slots.

Place a bet on the large circle in the middle for the regular game. The side bets are optional, so feel free to do your thing there. Depending on the situation, you’ll see options for doubling down, splitting, and insurance.

As far as betting boundaries go, Blackjack Infinite is one of the few live sessions where you can play with as little as €1 per round. The top limit usually differs per casino. In most places, it’s €1,000, but in 888 Casino's case, the upper limit is catered more to high-rollers at €5,000.

Additional Options and Controls

Here are some useful controls that will enhance your playing experience:

  • Table and Lobby – Located at the bottom right corner. The first prompts the split-screen mode to open. From there, you can choose another game and play both of them at the same time. The second will show you the Evolution lobby without the need to exit Infinite Blackjack.
  • Audio and camera options – Adjust your volume and interface with these two icons. You can find them at the top right.
  • Full-screen mode – Fully immerse yourself in the action by going borderless. Look for a button that looks like an iron cross at the upper-right edge of the screen.

Infinite Blackjack Net Return and RTP

You can expect a 99.47% Return to Player rate from this version of the game, ensuring an impressive Infinite Blackjack net return. In other words, your chances of winning are almost 50:50. A natural 21 awards a payout of 3:2, while you can score up to 250:1 if you get really lucky with a side bet.

The RTP rates of the optional wagers are lower than that of the base game, ranging from 94.12% to 96.30%. However, their values are still decent, and you can win big from them occasionally, further enhancing your Infinite Blackjack net return.

Optimal Betting Strategy for the Card Game

Blackjack might be a game of chance, but there's skill involved in it as well. You can't hope to get the fabled RTP rate by hitting and standing at random. There is a system called "basic strategy" that can tell you the best move in each scenario based on mathematics. This system including the optimal moves for infinite deck blackjack strategy.

You might have seen many strategy charts online, but the one we have here is made specifically for Infinite Blackjack. It can also work with other games of this type, but only in cases where the house stands on a soft 17 and plays with a shoe of 4-8 decks
